Handmade Natural Soaps or Soap Shampoo Bars. Cold Process Palm Oil Free Soap. Vegan Options. Wedding Favours etc - UK

These small soaps weigh between 40g - 50g and they measure approx. 7cm x 3.5cm x 1.5cm. Each piece is cut by hand and so sizes vary but always over 40g in weight. The soap shampoo bars are also suitable for all over use too. Why not try a saver random pack of 3 for best price! See the list below please.

Gorgeous handmade soaps, made with olive oil, coconut oil, plenty of shea butter and castor oil. The soap shampoo bars are 100% coconut oil.

These are all gentle, non-drying soaps and they are vegan except for couple of soaps noted on the list below as not vegan. These lovely natural soaps are suitable for face and body. You can choose any of these below from the drop down list to order. These soaps make lovely wedding favours. We wrap them in our coloured tissue paper but naked soap can be sent on request.

SOAP SHAMPOO BARS (hair, face and body)
Please note that if you are in a hard water area the shampoo bars will not work well for your hair unless you have a water softener. These areas have very hard water:

Quick Tips To Use Your Soap Shampoo Bar

1) Lather the bar straight onto your hair or use your hand to create lather and transfer to your hair. Both ways work just fine. You don’t need much as the lather is rich. Just get your fingers right into the roots. Wash it twice if you have really hard water or if you have oily hair.

2) Rinse well with water. It may take a little longer to rinse out natural shampoo bars.

3) Follow with a weak vinegar rinse, e.g. a good splash of apple cider vinegar, any other vinegar or lemon juice (not more than 1 tsp if it's concentrated lemon juice) in a jug of warm water. This rinse will restore the natural PH balance of your hair; it closes the hair shaft and helps it shine. Rinse with fresh water. No vinegar smell will be left in your hair.

4) After the rinse you will notice that your hair feels “squeaky” clean and smooth and you may well be able to just comb through with a wide toothed comb. If hair is hard to comb through before it has transitioned, follow with a hair conditioner but you are likely to find you don’t even need conditioner as your hair adapts. Many people find this to be so. The natural oils in the soap do this job.

5) As a final step, you could put a few drops of your favourite essential oil in a half litre or so of water and just pour it over your hair for a scented and glossy finish. I use Rose Geranium or Tea Tree and it works great. It is also one that helps with hair growth. Always follow usage instructions on essential oils.

HOW IS THIS SOAP MADE?
I make soap by the old traditional cold process method, right here in Yorkshire. It is cured for at least 4-6 weeks making it lovely and mild and creamy. This is soap with lots of natural glycerine and a great lather.

HOW IS OUR SOAP PACKAGED?
Your soap will have an eco kraft paper band as shown. Each piece is then wrapped individually in coloured soft tissue paper for protection, sealed with a "Handmade with Love" sticker to finish it nicely. It is then put into a striped paper bag and posted in a manilla envelope. Larger orders will be posted in either a thicker Jiffy Green bag or a cardboard box. All packaging is recyclable, some is recycled.

WHAT IS IT MADE FROM?
It is made from a range of wonderfully conditioning oils and other natural ingredients to please body, mind and soul! All are suitable for face and body. Some contain essential oils or fragrance too. This is luxury soap with a creamy lather! The olive oil and coconut oil in my soaps are edible quality which make lovely pure soap. The main ingredients in the soaps are olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil and castor oil, so it is 100% vegetable oils making most of our soaps suitable for vegans.

We do not use chemicals to stablilise the soap like commercial makers do, in order to keep our soaps as natural as possible.
